We have a modern fleet with carrying capacities ranging from 1 ton to 38 ton, comprising of flatbeds, tautliners, tippers and tankers. In addition to our own fleet we have a significant team of dedicated sub-contractors.
We transport FMCG, industrial, agricultural and dangerous goods in a delivery footprint that extends across Southern Africa. Transport options include bulk, consolidation and containerisation.
We are a fully certified hazardous cargo carrier with road bond accreditation. Our scope of services included national consolidation and full truck loads.

Pronto Services manage comprehensive warehousing in nationally. Our warehousing operation is suitable for the storage of both food and chemicals and is NOSA accredited.

PRO-ACTIVE RISK MANAGEMENT
Our Shift Controllers monitor the fleet from our 24-Hour Control Centre in Durban, using advanced fleet technology and operating processes. The Control Centre allows customers access to accurate updates on the movement of their cargo at any time.
The Centre also plays a vital role in the communication between our Operations and Fleet Controllers, affording decision-makers comprehensive, real-time knowledge of the fleet and the external circumstances that govern their efficiencies.
EFFECTIVE TECHNOLOGY
Technology plays a leading role in Pronto’s Operations. The company’s internet-based operating platform automates the entire operation, from customer needs analysis, fleet management, routing and planning, through to back-office administration and reporting.
All vehicles are fitted with real-time satellite tracking, on board computers, in-cab cameras and application-specific recovery devices. Our investment in telematics enables our Fleet Managers to monitor driver behaviour and on-road risk. These measures maximise vehicle productivity and utilisation and cut out unnecessary costs, giving you the best value for your money and peace of mind.
SKILLED DRIVERS
All our drivers undergo a rigorous recruitment and training process to enable them to transport your goods safely and efficiently.
Our drivers are constantly monitored and analysed according to their driving patterns and on-road performance.
Our driver training is ongoing and does not stop at recruitment. Every year our existing drivers complete a refresher training programme, which focuses on defensive driving techniques and advanced driver training modules.
DEDICATED PRONTO SERVICES WORKSHOP
Our on-site workshop in Durban carries out all service and maintenance requirements of the fleet. Available 24/7/365, our skilled teams ensure that the fleet downtime is kept to a minimum and that all deliveries are executed as planned. Vehicle breakdowns are never our customer’s problem, and our foresight means solutions are created before problems arise.
